Treasury Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our Corporate Treasury department to assist with daily cash balances, monitors and report cash activity, and assists in funding decisions. They will need to prepare and distribute reports for cash and treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cash management and forecasting activities by compiling multiple sources in daily cash report.
- Perform daily bank deposits.
- Perform daily monitoring of credit card program and processing credit card payments.
- Assist with analysis on outstanding checks and monitor activity in Unclaimed Property system.
- Perform Stop payments and voids in bank systems.
- Perform cash transfers between accounts and business units, along with initiating ACH’s and wire transfers outside of organization.
- Perform ad hoc analysis of cash transactions.
- Analyze current processes, identifying areas of inefficiency and opportunity.
- Assist in opening/closing accounts as needed.
- Maintain regular and detailed interaction with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and subs for analytical and process support.
- Stay current with financial trends and banking/cash management information technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 2 years of professional experience in Finance and/or Accounting
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Platform
- Perform a high volume of numerical detail-work with speed and accuracy
- Work independently and take initiative to meet strict deadlines without detailed supervision on a regular basis
- Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy .
- Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company's business to proactively respond to changing business environment
- Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
