Description About the role. The Licensing Analyst will work within our Legal & Compliance department and help maintain legal and regulatory compliance through collaboration with the Licensing and Compliance teams, researching and communicating requirements, obtaining approvals, documenting processes and reporting results and measures of success. Preference is for candidate to live in greater New Jersey (Warren) or New York (White Plains) area but open to our other office hub locations. The position is hybrid, with a minimum of two (2) days in office. What you’ll do. Assist Licensing & Appointments Manager with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to maintain compliance with licensing and appointment requirements. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing and leveraging information. Draft correspondence, process documents, compliance resources, letters and memoranda. Keep team members and other departments abreast of requirements by researching, reporting and assisting in understanding of regulatory requirements, developing action plans, monitoring progress and deadlines, and documenting results achieved. Assist with various monitoring & reporting including OFAC, HCRA, Anti-Fraud/SIU, compliance calendar, etc. What we’re looking for. 2-3+ years of experience within the compliance, licensing and/or legal department of a property & casualty insurance company Bachelor’s degree required Proficient in using Microsoft Office Excellent written and oral communication skills Flexible, curious and willing to develop stretch skills Excellent deadline management, analytical and research skills Concise, user friendly communication skills in all media, especially in writing and with visual tools Applies emotional intelligence skills in all aspects of work Highly detailed and organized, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and consistently delivering good results Demonstrates integrity, thrives on a team, exhibits team enthusiasm and earns trust and credibility Internally and externally customer focused Self-starter able to achieve desired outcomes independently The base salary for this role can range from $65K - $80K, based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience.
