The Technology Business Management (“TBM”) Analyst assists with the oversight and completion of day-to-day activities of TBM functions within TMNAS, at the nexus between IT, accounting and finance, vendor management and contract management. Responsible for performing the financial planning, budgeting, expense management, and analytical activities for IT.

Essential Job Functions:

1.     Provides tactical and operational support to all IT departments regarding TBM functions including, but not limited to, procurement process, project and operational financial management, budgeting, contract negotiation and vendor management, software asset management, 3rd party resource coordination and onboarding, contract coordination, and RFI/RFQ/RFP processing.

2.     Prepares annual budgets in conjunction with department heads.

3.     Prepares, analyzes, and interprets Actual vs. Budget variances and forecast projections.

4.     Establishes and builds strong working relations and partnerships with TBM team members and IT customers.

5.     Participates in operational and governance meetings with respect to TBM functions.

6.     Performs maintenance and updates of TBM systems and tools, including extraction, evaluation, analysis and maintenance of TBM data and reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred. 3+ years experience in a professional setting. Experience with Apptio or similar TBM tools a plus. Ability to effectively navigate formal and informal communication and decision-making channels. Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company’s business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Effective writing and communication skills. Customer service orientation toward Business Units requiring financial consultation (responsive, consultative, collaborative, and accurate). Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
