Relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines, this role is responsible for accomplishing the following assignments as guided by others. These assignments are varied in nature.

Assist Underwriters in managing deal pipeline, including managing and maintaining electronic underwriting files, producing indications and deal documents, coordinating due diligence process and outside counsel and accountants, and preparing insurance policies for issuance.

  • •Support group marketing efforts by helping to maintain marketing databases, including SalesForce, and follow up on new business opportunities and prepare marketing materials.
  • •Provide documentation support to Underwriters and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Legal including policy drafting assistance, form maintenance, and completion of confidentiality and non-reliance agreements.
  • •Initial review of submissions and prepare worksheets summarizing the transactions. Propose coverage positions for submissions, draft indications for discussion with senior underwriters.
  • •Manage software tools (such as Luminance) for analysis of due diligence data rooms.
  • •Attend marketing events, business development events, and group strategy sessions.
  • •Assist with product development activities and introduction of new forms and policy improvements.
  • •Provide general M&A organizational support to help streamline and improve business process.
  • •Draft and edit legal documents such as confidentiality agreements, confidentiality undertakings, and confidentiality deeds, non-reliance letters, expense agreements, and various other documents.
