Job Summary:

The Cloud Operations manager is responsible for ensuring successful implementations and accompanying operational processes of cloud and hybrid cloud projects, primarily utilizing Microsoft Azure.  This role will require skills working within a matrixed organization, pulling individuals from various teams to collaborate on cloud/hybrid cloud based solutions.  The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in areas such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud foundations and cloud application development.  This is required to support increased automation within the TMNAS cloud/hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage people, processes and performance management of the team, consisting of both direct and indirect reports
  • Coach, mentor and develop skills and capabilities of individual members to build a cohesive and collaborative team
  • Establish and build strong working relations and partnerships with Business partners to help improve the end user experience
  • Coordinate and assist with day to day operational activities in relation to cloud management and development
  • Develop and maintain a streamlined process for end to end application deployments in Microsoft Azure
  • Have a strong understanding of IaC practices and experience on implementing them in the organization
  • Have strong technical troubleshooting skills (Azure services, cloud infrastructure, etc)
  • Leverage DevOPs methodologies to develop and manage matrix teams for projects
  • Comply with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the Company
  • Perform special projects and other duties as may be assigned

Required Experience and Technical Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (preferably in MIS, IT, or Business) or equivalent experienc
  • 7+ years related experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automation technologies such as Azure bicep, ARM templates and Azure DevOps
  • Experience maintaining and managing laC code pipelines and identifying areas for improvement
  • Experience maintaining Azure foundational configurations such as management groups and subscription layouts
  • Experience ensuring initiatives are secure leveraging Azure technologies, Application Gateways, FrontDoor, WAF policies, PIM etc.
  • Experience collaborating to create RBAC roles and implementation of PIM.
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking including, private links, vnet peering, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of ARM template creation and management
  • Understanding of ADO and development pipelines
  • Understanding of Azure technologies such as APIM, webapps, function apps, logic apps, etc.
  • Working knowledge on web technologies such as .Net, Java
  • Understanding of Azure cost analytics and ability to maintain cost efficiencies
  • Knowledge of core infrastructure technologies, VMware, CISCO networking, Windows, AzureAD, Catchpoint, SCOM
  • Experience Developing and configuring monitoring controls and thresholds to ensure application and infrastructure performance
  • Working knowledge on implementing disaster recovery and backups in cloud infrastructure

Salary range $98,600 to $130,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
